artistic journey

Lena Rush attended the Pacific NW College of Art where she learned that she would never be satisfied by a singular medium. Her exploration took her from photography to painting then to sculpture and video installation. Every medium led to a new interest. The themes which remained consistent throughout this journey and has continued to drive her desire to create were the human experience and comic relief. You’ll see a lighthearted sentimentality throughout her subjects wether it be expressed in a fine oil portrait or horror film. Here you’ll see a collection of her past work and most likely hints of what’s to come in the future!
